[Call for Paper]

Workshop on Intelligence for Strategic Foresight
(ISF2013)

Date: October 29-31, 2013

Location: Maebashi, Japan

Conference Website: http://wi-consortium.org/conferences/amtbi13/amt/

n  Goals

To support decision-making in right time and right ways, strategic foresight should be secured. It can be defined as the combination of technology intelligence, political environment foresight, competitive intelligence, and consumer foresight. As one of such important abilities, technology intelligence has been focused from near 2010. Special Session on Technology Intelligence at AMT2011 (http://wi-consortium.org/conferences/amtbi11/amt_html/ti-cfp.html) organized by us was one of major activities that want to enable companies to identify the technological opportunities and threats that could affect the future growth and survival of their business. The session covered several main topics such as analyzing technology trends, forecasting their sustainability, and predicting the next big wave by applying trawl, mine, scan, and target methods. In this year, we will try to expand the coverage to political environment foresight, competitive intelligence, and consumer foresight.

We seek high-qualified, original submissions of reports on research covering all the aspects of technology intelligence creation, promotion, and delivering methodologies based on the current information overload.
